#5: Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004)
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004) reunites Mystery Inc. for what should be a victory lap after their earlier success. Instead, the gang gets invited to a museum gala in Coolsville that quickly turns into chaos when a masked villain steals old monster costumes and brings them back to life. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby have to clear their names and solve the case before the city is overrun by familiar foes like the Black Knight Ghost and the 10,000 Volt Ghost. It’s loud, colorful, and leaning hard on nostalgia, but critics at the time weren’t convinced by its humor or its CGI-heavy creatures.
