#5: The Daytona 500 Rain Delay Disaster (1995)
Rain halted the action on lap 70, forcing drivers to wait out a two-hour delay. When racing resumed, Jeff Gordon lost his lead after a disastrous pit stop, dropping to 20th. With 40 laps to go, rookie Randy LaJoie spun on the backstretch, his windshield flying off and causing Bobby Hamilton and Rusty Wallace to collide—marking Wallace’s fifth straight Daytona 500 crash.
