#9: The Thanksgiving Day Cowboys Game Ice Storm (1993)
A rare “Blue Norther” storm brought freezing rain and cold temperatures to Dallas, turning the field into an ice rink and making the game’s conditions almost impossible. Miami managed to scramble back the ball in the end zone, setting up a second field goal attempt, which they converted for a brilliant 16-14 victory. Leon Lett’s slip while trying to recover the ball remains one of the most infamous plays in NFL history, costing Dallas the game in the final seconds.
