#7: John Fogerty Fought Fantasy Records Over Song Rights
John Fogerty’s battle with Fantasy Records became one of the strangest music lawsuits of the 1980s. The label accused him of copying his own Creedence Clearwater Revival song Run Through the Jungle (1970) when he released Old Man Down the Road (1984). Fogerty won the case but spent years fighting to recover legal costs.
