#24: Don’t Lose Your Dentures
Of all the strange things you can find half submerged in recently poured concrete, a full set of dentures has got to be up there with the strangest of them. I’ve found keys, sticks, weapons, and shoes but never somebody’s fake teeth spat right out of their mouth and partially buried in the sidewalk.
Of course, I can imagine all kinds of situations where this could happen, but it still seems inexplicable that the teeth would stay there long enough to be found by me (meaning whoever took this photo). I can understand how one’s teeth could fall into the wet concrete, but I can’t really understand why one would just leave them to set and remain there for eternity.
