Ok, Computer
In this next story, I do see where his friend is coming from. If somebody had told me they knew how to work on my computer, and then they ended up breaking something on it that would have cost me $150 to replace, I would be irritated and want them to replace it too.
So I think the guy who wrote the post is right: the risk of fixing someone else’s computer is not worth it unless you’re at a computer repair store. Best case scenario, your friend is happy, but you have wasted a lot of your time doing something for free. Worst case scenario, you end up having to pay them a bunch of money.
