For TV shows, holiday specials are often iconic. While many go all out for Christmas specials, others go all in on Halloween, too. Those are definitely the two major holidays when it comes to TV shows. What’s special about Halloween episodes is that we get a sense of the characters based on how they dress. Some shows gave us the best costumes to look back on and get some inspiration for our own costumes. These are the costumes we love the most to celebrate the spookiest of holidays.
#1: Friends – Ross Geller as Spudnik
We had to start off strong with none other than Ross Geller as “Spudnik.” Despite Chandler saying he didn’t have the worst costume anymore (hinting that Ross had the worst one), we think it was genius. A combination of the Russian space satellite Sputnik and a potato, Ross let his silly side shine in “The One with the Halloween Party” on Friends. Friends let friends dress as space taters. And we love a good pun.
