#14: The Theme Parks of Orlando
A second Orlando entry is justified because the experience has expanded far beyond one resort. Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, SeaWorld, and the newer Epic Universe create vacations in which families may spend several consecutive days moving between enormous outdoor complexes. Epic Universe alone connects themed lands through a large central park, while Universal’s park-to-park tickets can add transportation and extra walking to an already long day. Orlando’s normal late-summer high is about 92 degrees, with warm nights and frequent afternoon thunderstorms.
