#7: Character Was Killed After Actor Mocked a Co-Star on Cheers (1982)
Jay Thomas reportedly damaged his standing with Cheers (1982) after joking on a radio program about kissing co-star Rhea Perlman. According to writer Ken Levine, the comments were not well received. Soon afterward, Thomas’s character Eddie LeBec met an unusually memorable end involving a runaway Zamboni machine.
