#13: Happy Endings (2013-2015)
Happy Endings delivered jokes, elaborate callbacks, and one of television’s strongest comedy ensembles, but ABC repeatedly moved episodes and aired portions out of order. Ratings suffered as viewers struggled to follow its schedule. The network canceled it after three seasons, before streaming made tightly packed ensemble comedies easier to discover. Its reputation only improved afterward, inspiring reunion events and revival rumors. Apparently, the real unhappy ending was teaching audiences to find the show after cancellation.
