#28: William Henry Harrison
The 9th president of the United States was not only a military official and a politician, but he was also the oldest man at the time to ever be elected president. At 67, William Henry Harrison became president in 1841 and was the last president under the rule of Great Britain. But he sadly died on his 32nd day in office, serving the shortest term in U.S. history.
During his campaign trail, Harrison worked hard to appeal to the working class by basing his presidency on hard cider and log cabins. However, considering he was from a wealthy background, it would seem that he was trying to project a certain image, as opposed to actually living that way. But free cider on the campaign trail sounds like a good time to us!
