The earth is old, and we do mean very old. Lots of animals have come and gone, and some will just flat-out shock you. Just when you think you have seen it all, think again because here is a list of some of the craziest animals to have ever existed and some that still do.

That’s right, we know exactly what we just said above in the title. There was a shark called the Helicoprion that had a mouth like a saw. It was some sort of wheel-shaped mouth which gives it the unique appearance we reconstructed. Imagine seeing this thing in the water next to you.
