Only Daughter
When Natalie Denise Suleman was born on July 11, 1975 in Fullerton, California, she was the only child of Nadya Suleman’s Iraqi father and Lithuanian mother. Her father was Iraqi, and her mother was Lithuanian. Her Iraqi father and Lithuanian mother gave her an international upbringing. Denise was the only child of her parents when she was a young girl.
However, even when she was a very young child, she had the feeling that one day she would want to be a mother and have a large family with many children of her own. Denise was raised as an only child. This young girl’s wish would eventually be granted, albeit in a circuitous fashion; however, no one could foresee the exact number of children she would go on to have in the long run.
