Underrated actors who deserved much more attention

Andy Serkis helped transform motion capture into a respected performance art. His work as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003) changed how digital characters were created and viewed. Beyond technology, his performances in Planet of the Apes films and other projects demonstrated remarkable emotional and physical acting skills.
