It was very thoughtful of her to ultimately refuse her aunt’s frequent requests to drive her to her cousin’s place of employment so that her aunt’s niece would not have to travel further than necessary three times a week to pick up her cousin on her aunt’s behalf. Her aunt’s frequent requests to be driven to her cousin’s place of employment were made by her aunt.
She has to spend the equivalent of a half tank of gas on the privilege of being able to pick up her cousin for her aunt. After seeing how her aunt acted when she said no, she is unlikely to do this favour for her aunt again. In fact, it’s implausible that she will ever do something nice for her aunt.
