Immortal Oregano
This oregano plant has seen a lifetime of love. Its story goes like this: the gardener’s mother got a clipping from her aunt decades ago. She planted it at one house, then transplanted it when she moved, THREE different times. She then bequeathed it to her daughter, who moved it yet again, twice!
The person who now has it jokes that they’ve never had to buy oregano in their entire life. I can see why. It’s a healthy beauty, for sure! I bet they cook a lot of Italian meals with it. I’m super impressed because I’m proud that I’ve managed to keep a basil plant alive for two months.
