This Razor Has Seen Things
I didn’t realize that Gillette had been making razors for that long! This is a 1965 Gillette Slim, and you can still buy replacement blades for pennies! It turns out that Gillette has been in business since 1901, selling razors to men and women for over a century. Of course, their production has mainly moved to plastic now, but this is so cool!
If you want one, they’re all over aftermarket sites. Granted, they’ll run you over $50, but honestly, they’re indestructible, and $50 worth of the newer models will only last you a year or two. Cartridges have become so expensive over the years! It seems like I’ve spent hundreds in just the last three years for quality razors.
