Ah, the Singer
Singer sewing machines hold a special place in my heart. I own several, two of which have the original table and metal legs. They’re excellent devices. This one is a beauty and was purchased in 1925, then handed down through the generations. It’s obviously in perfect condition at nearly 100 years old, too.
I bet the seating cushion was sewn on that very machine! I know some people prefer the newer appliances that come preloaded with 82 different embroidery patterns, but there’s something so soothing about using a classic sewing machine that takes skill. Hopefully, it makes it through a few more generations before giving out!
