#15: Speak & Spell (1978)
One of the very first electronic learning toys, the Speak & Spell got some infamous attention when Steven Spielberg employed it as a prop in his iconic movie ET: The Extra-Terrestrial. This clever toy helped kids learn how to spell through its unique audio feedback. It also helped with reading and correctly pronouncing words.
