#5: Hot Wheels (1968)
Hot Wheels are die-cast cars that made a huge splash when they entered the toy market in 1968. Beloved by little boys and grownup boys alike, the cars were often paired with matching tracks that swooped and looped, really showcasing what these mini cars could do. Hot Wheels were so popular that the company struck up deals with major automobile manufacturers, producing limited runs of some of the most in-demand makes and models of the time.
