Not Much of a Party
The world is split into two types of people: the suspicious and the trusting. The former is characterized as being cautious, while the latter is more easygoing. Being either has its perks, with those who fall into the trustful category having a higher chance for new adventures or meeting new people. Although at times, it appears that being suspecting pays off more.
This individual went to a party with his buddy despite their misgivings. When they arrived, the area appeared seedy, and something about this party seemed odd, so they opted to listen to their intuition and leave. It wasn’t actually a party, but rather a con-the person who invited them was robbed once they got there.
