Did you know that McDonald’s has been a primary sponsor of the Olympics since 1968? They’re said to have paid an outrageous $98 million to continue doing so until 2020. Coke, on the other hand, has been spending approximately $44 million every four years since 1928, according to recent statistics!
Though it may sound contradictory, McDonald’s is a huge supporter of not only international but also numerous local sports teams and players. This “ancient” cup from the 1988 Seoul Olympics (pictured above) proves that fact.
