Badger
This may appear to be someone getting compensated to nag individuals. What do you think? We were, too. Fortunately, that isn’t the case. During the market revolution, “badgers” served as intermediaries between producers and consumers.
Rather than selling directly to consumers, farmers sold their products to badgers, who resold them at a premium in local markets. They may no longer be referred to by this name, but similar middlemen still exist in many sectors of the market.
