Haberdasher
A Haberdasher was a person who ran a haberdashery, or in other words, a store that sold sewing supplies. Women frequented Haberdashery shops in the 19th century to acquire clothing and sewing tools.
The Brook Brothers were the first and most renowned haberdashery shop of its era. Today, most of the goods previously sold in haberdashery shops may be found in any craft store, making such specialty businesses obsolete.
