Selfies are among the most frequently taken photos, so it’s no wonder people go to great lengths to get a good one. Unfortunately, things don’t always work out as planned.
When in a public place, always check behind you
As this photo demonstrates, a quick scan of your surroundings is highly suggested when taking a selfie, especially in public. This unsuspecting pair most likely experienced quite the surprise when looking back through their photographs, and it’s worth noting that a photograph of yourself isn’t always just you.
You can’t always prevent the actions of others, or animals, around you. This dog was undoubtedly having a fantastic time minding his own business and snuggling on his owner’s lap on a warm day. Still, we’re pretty sure that the couple behind the camera didn’t intend to capture him in the background as the unwitting star of their selfie.
