Reopen rusted-closed locks.
This is a WD-40 use you may have already heard about, but it’s worth mentioning in case you didn’t. Locks that have grown rusty can be opened using WD-40.

It’s reasonable to bet that you’ll need to open an old, rusted lock at some point, whether you’ve discovered hidden riches in a locked box or simply left your bike lockout in the weather one too many times. It won’t be an issue if you have some WD-40 on hand!
