Grants in the amount of $325,000 were given to both Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for their respective works.
The pair, who had been seeing each other for close to a year before being married, said their vows to one another on Sunday evening at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. People and E! News have both reported that the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony held under the stars at the sprawling antebellum plantation located just outside of Charleston.
It just so happens that this is the same spot that was used in the popular romantic drama film “The Notebook” to portray the setting of the story. Reportedly, the wedding of Lively and Reynolds took place in the Cotton Dock House on the farm. Seventy of the couple’s closest family and friends were in attendance during the ceremony.
