#17: “C’mon Everybody” by Eddie Cochran – David Bowie (1987)

Eddie Cochran recorded “C’mon Everybody” in 1958, and it became a defining early rock single. David Bowie included his version on the 1987 album Never Let Me Down. Released as a single in some markets, it charted in the UK and received regular airplay. Bowie’s take used a fuller production style suited for large venues, reflecting the scale of his Glass Spider Tour during that period.
