Written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin, “The Loco-Motion” hit No. 1 for Little Eva in 1962. Then Kylie Minogue stepped in during 1987, fresh off a TV performance, and turned it into pure pop candy. It topped the charts in Australia and moved huge numbers. By 1988, it was climbing the Billboard Hot 100 and giving Kylie her first real push onto the global stage.
