#19: Elsa Martinelli
Born in Italy, Elsa Martinelli was spotted by a photographer, and her modeling career took off, even bringing her to New York. However, her looks were too cinematic to be contained by still photographs. Soon, Hollywood called, and she was cast together with Kirk Douglas in The Indian Fighter (1955). That was how her career as an international film star started.
