#16: Midnight in Paris (2011)
Nostalgia has rarely looked as lovely as it does in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Owen Wilson plays a writer wandering the streets of modern-day Paris who suddenly finds himself transported to the city’s golden age of the 1920s. There he meets Hemingway, Dalí, Fitzgerald, and other legends who once filled the cafés and dance halls. Woody’s film feels like a soft dream about art, love, and the ache for another time.

It reminds us that while we can visit the past in stories, the real magic lies in appreciating the moment we’re in.
