#19: Park Ranger in Pandora
In 2009, Avatar stunned audiences with its vivid alien moon, where glowing plants and unfamiliar creatures filled a wild, living environment. A ranger’s job was to defend that whole ecosystem against corporate destruction. The role appealed to viewers not only because it involved protecting nature, but also because the scenery was so striking it seemed painted while still alive.
