Guest From The Past
Many people felt that it was inappropriate for Walters to give this famous chair to a young boy, despite the fact that it was a really kind and generous gesture. They believed that the chair should have been placed in a museum or some other type of public display for the benefit of the general public.
However, history was once again made twenty years later when a young boy named Jerry, who is now an adult man, donated the chair to the San Diego Air and Space Museum. The chair was still attached to its original tethers and water jugs at the time of the donation.
