The Brasilia EMB-120
A plane with many mishaps should certainly be grounded by now, but that isn’t necessarily the case with some of the items on this list. The Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia has a long history of being a shaky passenger plane. In 1991, a mid-flight event caused the twin turbo-prop planes to break up, killing all 14 people on board. There have also been other mishaps.
Despite these issues, Brasilia continues to fly. It’s been called one of the worst commuter planes ever, which is perhaps why Texas-based Ameriflight Airlines only operates them as freighters.
