Cheeky Little Girl
Susan Boyle was reportedly born in the year 1961 in Blackburn, Scotland, to parents Patrick, a war veteran, and Bridget, a typist. This information comes from Hello! Magazine. Boyle was the ninth and final child to be born to Boyle’s mother, who was 47 years old at the time of her delivery (via Daily Mail). Because Boyle did not receive enough oxygen when he was born, he was diagnosed with “mild brain damage,” which was later upgraded to “chronic lung disease.”
Due to the fact that Susan struggled academically, she was eventually the victim of bullying at school. She is quoted as saying in The Sunday Times that despite having learning difficulties and other challenges as a child, she was a “cheeky little girl” who fought hard to find her own place in the family. This is despite the fact that she had these challenges. Because of the size of our family, it was necessary for each member to maintain constant advocacy.
