Amazing Performances
As a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle gave performances that left viewers in awe. She sang some of the biggest hits in the history of musical theater, such as “Memory” from the musical Cats, and she concluded the competition by giving a revival performance of “I Dreamed a Dream.” Boyle was the crowd favorite to win the competition, even though she was up against the street dance troupe Diversity. However, in a stunning turn of events, the dance group won the competition, thereby relegating Boyle to the position of runner-up on Britain’s Got Talent Season 3.
Boyle was a patient at the Priory clinic, a private psychiatric facility, for a brief period of time after the whirlwind that was the competition. While there, she received treatment for her exhaustion and mental health (via The Guardian). “There’s no getting around the fact that Susan is worn out. It shouldn’t come as a surprise given that she came from a humble beginning in West Lothian and has since risen to fame on a global scale “John, her brother, said those words not long after the conclusion of the competition (via The Telegraph). Boyle, however, left the clinic after only five days and joined her fellow former competitors on the Britain’s Got Talent tour. This tour took them all across the United Kingdom to perform.
