#13: 99.9% of the Solar System’s Total Mass is Trapped Inside the Sun
Out of everything moving around our solar system (planets, moons, and asteroids), 99.9% of its mass resides in the Sun. All those massive giants like Jupiter and Saturn only contribute 0.1% to the total mass. After all, the Sun really is the solar system’s heavyweight champion, and we’re all just trying our hardest to avoid its massive presence.
