#20: 80% of the Global Ocean Remains Completely Unmapped and Unexplored
80% of Earth’s ocean floor is still unexplored and unmapped. This is mostly because it is challenging to use satellite radar in areas with thick water canopies. We know very little about the underwater wilderness, even though it is our own planet. It makes us wonder what secrets are hidden beneath the surface.
