You Know Their Voices, But Do You Know Their Faces?

Known as “The Man of a Thousand Voices,” Mel Blanc was the sound of many of our childhoods. He gave life to almost the entire Looney Tunes cast for Warner Bros. He was Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, and Sylvester the Cat. Each character had a completely distinct voice and personality, all coming from one man. His genius was making you believe these cartoon drawings were real, breathing beings with attitudes and quirks. His work is timeless, and his famous sign-off, “That’s all, folks!” is a piece of American history.
