Mothers will continue to be mothers
Mothers, regardless of their species, will always look after their children. Because otters are little rodent-like creatures, they can teach their young the proper way to swim shortly after birth, allowing them to adjust to their new environment.
Suzi Eszter noticed a mother holding her infant on her belly outside the pool to keep it warm. While they were both floating on the water’s surface, the baby took a nap on its mother’s belly.
