When you are just out of high school it can be a scary time in your life. You often don’t know where your next move will take you and what you want to do as a career. It’s a transitional phase that can have many young people trapped in a panic-stricken state that may take a while to get over. Sure, most of us do grow up and find our place in the world, but it is never easy and we need to work for it. Well, at least most of us do, there are those who come from wealthy families that seem to have little problems in the department. For the more unfortunate, financial obstacles can be in the way of a promising future and further education. It’s not a fair world we live in, but it is all we got and we need to make the best out of it. Just like this young woman did in the story we are about to share with you now.
La Marque
There is a town in Texas called La Marque and it is home to less than twenty thousand people. So needless to say, in this area of Texas basically everyone knows each other and gets along well. It’s a sleepy blue-collared town where not a lot is happening and the streets are quiet.
But during the day it comes to life with people driving all over the place to work and back. It’s a nice town with a vibrant community, and people who are always willing to help each other. That’s the theme of today’s story, a woman’s need to help another human being.
