#37: Sleepy Time
This next post is a common refrain that you’ve probably heard from friends and family as they get older; you might have even said it yourself. It seemed like you could get away with hardly any sleep when you were young, and now, if you don’t get your full night’s rest, you’re basically a disaster the next day.
What’s interesting, though, is that science doesn’t really back that up. Babies need more sleep than any other group of people, and then as we get older and older, the amount of sleep we need less and less sleep. So maybe it’s just that when you’re younger, you’re better at ignoring what your body needs.
