New home
The new town was tough at the start but over time, Brooke got used to it. She didn’t mind the houses and the big open spaces as much as she first did initially. Now she was really into all the places that she could walk around in and feel safe while close to her house.
Because she was so young at the time of the move, she was never able to go outside unattended by her parents, but in the suburbs that was different. She could play with the other kids on her street and her parents didn’t need to constantly watch her. Things were looking better.
