It’s easy to acquire a less-than-desirable body odor when playing sports or engaging in another rigorous activity for lengthy periods. Although sweat is typically held responsible for body odors, it is actually germs on our skin that give off the stench.
Bacteria break down the acids found in sweat, giving off a strong and sometimes unpleasant odor. This photo appears to show a basketball player advising another player on his deodorant.
