#13: Carrying Their Books
For guys, the ultimate form of 9th grade chivalry was to offer to carry their crush’s books. Certainly, girls are capable of carrying their own books, but it made their potential boyfriend feel manly to treat his best girl like a princess. It was a sweet gesture, even if it was a bit sexist and archaic. Just go with it.
