#36: Sherlock
Sherlock Holmes is one of the most popular characters ever created, with numerous versions of the classic stories on television and in cinemas. BBC’s Sherlock has got to be one of the best renditions of The Great Detective, with an incredible cast, brilliant cinematography, and amazing adaptation to modern-day London.
When Benedict Cumberbatch was cast as Sherlock Holmes, he got to work right away, reading every single original story of the detective by Arthur Conan Doyle. Maybe this is another thing that made his performance in the show so convincing. And maybe it has come time for a rewatch for me…?
