#10: Hardee’s Fried Chicken (1980s)
Similarly to Arby’s Onion Petals, Hardee’s Fried Chicken became an increasingly popular menu item after its debut in the 1980s. Despite Hardee’s brand being mostly known for its burgers, customers enjoyed their fried chicken’s crispy, flavorful coating and even considered it a rival to KFC. Eventually, and despite this success, Hardee’s shifted its focus back to their core burger offerings.
