The Horse Acted Oddly
It seemed as though their horse, Keola, was unhappy about being pregnant, which was a concern of theirs. In addition, it appeared that she was unhappy about being alone. In addition to that, it appeared as though she was dissatisfied with the pregnancy in and of itself. As a matter of fact, it started behaving in a very odd manner. At first glance, it appeared as though Keola enjoyed regularly licking Jolene’s stomach for some reason.

This was a theory that was supported by the fact that she did this quite often. On the other hand, at a later point in time, he began engaging in a variety of other odd behaviors. Because Jolene’s level of anxiety increased as a direct result of his actions, it is evident that his actions were the cause of the increase in Jolene’s level of anxiety.
