We’ve been eating eggs probably since before we created language, but you’d still have to hand it to the crazy person who first thought to eat eggs, then start to wonder when we started to consider boiling them rather than eat them raw.
Whichever ancient gourmand looked at a chicken and saw the potential for an omelet, we salute them. Their legacy lives on every time we crack open the shell of an egg, revealing the potential for scrambled, fried, poached, or even deviled delight. A world without egg sandwiches is not one most of us would care to entertain.
