#21: Beat The Clock (1950)
It wasn’t uncommon for game shows to make the transition from radio to television, which Beat The Clock did between 1948 and 1950. The show invited contestants to complete challenges before time ran out on the clock.
The show had a long history, with regular revivals airing on both primetime and daytime network channels until 1980. Thirty-eight years later, in 2018, the show was relaunched to feature both children and adults competing together on teams.
